VoiceOver 55 – A New Community Supporting Women 55+ working in voiceover.

VoiceOver 55. Does that describe you? Are you a woman 55 or older working in the field of voiceover? If so, this FREE 90-minute meet-up is for you!  No matter if you’ve been in the business for a long time or if you’re just getting started, there’s something unique about doing it in your late 50’s and beyond. For me, my focus and energy has taken a shift, my motivation is different and my mindset has even changed direction. Priorities, energy, mental and physical health, memory, planning, organization, training….and the list goes on. Not to mention trying to age gracefully by accepting that aging is what it is. Sometimes I feel all alone out here like I’m standing on rock in the ocean with my grey hair blowing in the wind. Does anybody see me? Does anybody hear me? Um, hello???? Yeah, do you ever feel like that?

What’s my goal in all of this you might ask? To give us all the feeling that we’re not actually going through it alone. Aging is hard. Working is hard. Staying up with technology is hard. And making friends who understand what you’re going through is even harder. Let’s change the narrative. Let’s talk about things. Let’s support each other. And last but not least, let’s help each other continue to kick ass in whatever capacity that is for you.
