Having begun in radio at the age of 18, she’s taken a rather circuitous route and worn many hats in the creative arts, from national radio and record promotion, ad agency producer to film and television work, before finding her “voice” in podcasting and voiceover. In 2020 Cheryl launched her own, self-produced podcast, 19Stories: from fear to Hope.
19Stories is about women and men working in various creative endeavors.  She’s interviewed some of the most stellar talent in voiceover, music and broadcasting as well as authors, speakers and coaches. They have intriguing conversations about the successes, challenges, and fears they’ve faced and what they did to press-through to a future filled with joy and hope.  Oh, and they laugh…a lot! These stories have resonated with folks and 19Stories has been recognized with a 2023, 2022 and 2021 SOVAS Award Nomination for Best Podcast – Producer.

In November 2023, Cheryl launched her second podcast ‘The Voice Kitchen: where recipes and voice talent blend!’

Calley Bliss is a Minneapolis-based voice over artist, yoga entrepreneur, and contemporary vocalist who has been loving the art of professional storytelling since age 17. She has voiced hundreds of works spanning commercials, documentaries, corporate industrials, events, medical narration, explainer videos, podcasts, museum and exhibit tours, and IVR/telephony. Calley began her performing career as a professional vocalist based in Dallas, TX and later New York City, and has performed with musical groups across the US, UK, and Central America. She has used yoga since 2001 as a way to find her way back to “creative center,” and pacify her often over-stimulated nervous system. After receiving a diagnosis of acute and severe respiratory allergies in 2005, and five long years of daily medications and weekly immunotherapy shots, she worked her way back to physical health and resilience using the tools and techniques of meditation, breathwork, yoga, and diet alteration. Calley believes wholeheartedly that creative minds hold a special place in society with an innate understanding of connection, growth, and problem-solving, and seeks to empower creatives to take to care of their spirit and unlock the power of their voice.

Join us for a monthly virtual gathering on GOOGLE MEET at the time of the Full Moon to practice (or learn) meditation as we ground into our creative souls and goals at a time when the moon’s energy is at its strongest, giving us heightened creative juice!  We will practice gentle Moon Salutations as a short warm-up, followed by a forward fold and heart opener to allow the body to prepare for meditation. Meditations will be practiced in “sprints” of 5 minutes, 8 minutes, and 11 minutes. After each sprint will be short writing prompts to write down and give participants actionable insights to take with them after the session. At the end of the session, we will host an optional discussion about our experience with the meditations, and what we hope to foster and focus on until the next Full Moon.  Full moons are said to influence the highest energy in each 28-29-day lunar cycle – a perfect opportunity for expression and gaining perspective.
