About Laura Doman:
Laura is a voice actor and on-camera actress who loves playing behind the mic and in front of the lens, especially for projects requiring both skills. Her VO clients include AAA, Ferrero (maker of Nutella … yum), and Anthem, and she has appeared on screen in films, TV, commercials, and industrials. Although growing up as “that theater kid” and the voice of her school’s morning announcements, Laura’s first career was in high tech as a corporate sales exec, where she sold computers, software solutions, and support services to the Fortune 500. In 2016, she finally decided it was time to follow her childhood dream and became an actress, with voice over added two years later. As a performer, her sweet spot is bridging the business and creative worlds for her corporate clients, but she’s recently been working with small business owners, helping them become more comfortable and effective on camera when making their own videos. The tips, tricks, and techniques she shares are useful to anyone wanting to learn how to make the camera work for them and are capsulized in her YouTube series “On Camera Tips for Busy Execs.”
